Just so you are aware, your subtitles go a bit bonkers once Bioshock Infinite starts at around one hour and 34 minutes. Hope that helps.

great list but it quickly got very annoying hearing what platform each game is avaliable on over and over again.
I guess the straight up copy from Tomb Raider, Uncharted is worth it so much to be put up in the list twice but Lara Croft for some reason isn't..but ofc If you recommend games that are design and appeal mostly to kids like mario,kirby and sonic the hedgehog and almost 10-15 of the games you suggest are those then one can understand many things about your criteria.

The first God of war is playable on the PS Vita, which released after the 3ds, so if you included Pokémon yellow, might as well include the first god of war

Streets of Rage 2 and Jet Set radio deserve a spot imo. In general more Sega games
Ive played about 60 of those titles listed and beaten about 50 of those 60. Not too shabby. Interesting list!

"current generation hardware or the previous one" is a bad criterium for compiling a top100 videogame list in my opinion. a top100 movie list for example would be laughable if you discount everything older than say 2012 and it doesn't matter whether you have to dig deep in order to watch those movies. sounds like your intention is to help the industry selling games rather than going at it from an artistic standpoint.
Can hardly complain about too many violent games with that heavy a bias towards shooters. Does everybody really need to play each one of those Halos, Call of Dutys, Bioshocks, System Shock, Fallout, Uncharteds, Resident Evils, Dead Space, Half-Life, Gears of War, Perfect Dark, Doom, Quake, etc… yet there are no rhythm games, only a few puzzle games, no Little Big Planet, no Disgaea, no Plants vs Zombies, unbelievably no Street Fighter.

Bioshock trilogy was the best game so far in my opinion. For intelligence, action, & emotion, Bioshock knockedd it out of the park.
On the other hand, I think the rankings by a British group had a much different ideas of what makes a great video game than an American one.
