Inflexion is the new studio of Aaryn Flynn, former general manager of BioWare. At The Game Awards 2021, the team announced their first game, a survival sim with an unusual Nightingale setting.

Your character enters the portal and suddenly finds himself cut off from his home world. The magical web has been destroyed, and countless people are forced to fight for their lives in the web of mysterious dimensions.

The setting has been described as “mystical Victorian fantasy with gas lamps”. New portals will take you to gloomy forests, frightening swamps and shimmering deserts, where dark magic and nightmarish creatures live. Traditional survival elements are in place: you can cooperate with other players, collect resources, craft tools and build buildings.

Nightingale is going to be released during 2022. Among the confirmed platforms so far only PC.
