Lamentum is best indie
Axiom verge 2
I guess Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an AAA game then 🤔
way too many emotions being described here..
And Omori?
Ok screw my old ranking, I played Before Your Eyes the other day and that is 100% my GOTY, what a masterpiece in every way.
death's door > all
Wildermyth is my number 1 this year. I love creating the characters i love in it.
Sable also comes close, but it’s a bit disturbingly buggy and i am not sure about the developers trying to repair these bugs. 😔
Love watching your videos!! Also, thinking to try developing my own game. Want to share this journey with someone. Any enthusiasts here who want to coop??? Please reply if interested. No monkey business 🙈
what's the bird at the beginning of the video?
damn no Eastward :c
Good list! For me Eastward takes the cake as favorite indie title (and one of the best games overall that I played this year!)
You shoul try Ani Leaving Sirius
unpacking came out when I was actually moving so it was the last thing I wanted to play lol. Maybe I'll give it a shot now.
Honestly…I found most of these to be pretty boring when I tried them out
Indie gaming is where real passion can be found in the industry.
Is Eastward a movie ?
Griftlands
Than number 1 looks interesting, but I only play on console, so Death's Door for me! I'm glad it came to PS recently to play it over the winter break =D
More like top 10 indie games if you have brain damage, where is repentence ?
I loved Death’s Door. And yes, I got my umbrella trophy and platinum. I figured if I went straight in with an umbrella run without ever checking out the power of other weapons I would never know how much harder the combat was with merely an umbrella to tickle enemies with. A few challenging fights, but otherwise not as tough as I expected. 😁
I really like your best of lists
Black Book
4:16 Anh ơi,Tết đến sum vầy… Muốn dâu ra mắt thì tìm em đây
good call on Inscryption, loved every second of that twisted little beauty. Runners up for me would be Unsighted and Narita Boy
I put Inscryption on my wishlist the second I realised who the Dev was…..Pony Island was awesome and I really enjoyed The Hex too!
Unmetal could be in this list
Where’s The Forgotten City?
C'mon, man! Haven't you played Unsighted? It's a truly masterpiece and much better than many games in your list
What a greatly presented rundown – as always. You have your presentation of these games well done indeed, so that I feel like I want to play even the ones I would never play! For me Toem stands out as an interest, thank you!
For sure agree with that top 3
Thanks for this.
Deaths Door 🚪💯💯💯💯
Unsighted beats all these games
i love death door
A solid list, and Inscryption is a worthy winner, but I feel that Webbed definitely deserves a place in that top 10.
6:42 Anh đừng rước đèn nữa anh rước em đi
3:37 Em có một siêu năng lực là nhắm mắt lại là có thể nhìn thấy anh.
Deaths Door my beloved!
So only Sable
great list man, this is what i want
I played a lot of indie games through Game Pass in 2021. Not on your list, I can vouch for Olija and Omno as being among my favorites. Omno is a charming, clever 3D exploration puzzler with no combat/killing and Olija is an action-adventure game that evokes old Apple II/C64/MS-DOS titles with more modern action gameplay. Both are intuitive to play, not overly challenging (cough, Death's door, Kena, cough), and require very little exposition to present their worlds. Just a brisk, enjoyable playthrough without any pacing problems.
Grime and Tails of Iron are 2 very challenging metroidvania gems.
Demon Turf??
Gotta get Sable. Looks like playing inside a Moebius comics.
Unpacking was awesome
Hey! Reached out to you via your channel email! I'd love to hear from you! Fellow Youtuber, thanks!
Know most!!! Awesome year for Indie development
The TOP1 Death’s Door
I miss you guys 😢
