  1. Starfield is not an open world, it's open areas, stop pretending it's.

  2. The Crew: Motorfest is locked to 60fps and there's no way to unlock it. This is a deal breaker for many people.

  3. There is literally nothing open about Starfield's world, it is the most closed game I have ever played in my entire life

  4. dead island 2 isnt a open world game its broken down in parts which you explore but isnt recognised as an open world

  5. Talk about renegging on a bunch of stuff you supposedly believe

  6. This content is a treasure trove of unique and innovative ideas. I read a book with akin subjects that transformed my approach. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze

  7. Dead Island 2 was honestly so lackluster and boring in my opinion I couldnt finish it, man. Just did not feel nearly the same as the first Dead Island or Riptide. Not unplayable, however just severely below my expectations for a game I was waiting like a decade for.

  8. When I click on a Gameranx video, and it's Jake, I leave. When it's Falcon, I stay.

  9. Like honestly, atomic heart is a piece it's not even close to other games in the list, tasteless dude

  10. Now I am interested in Starfield. Thank you [><]

  11. wow, not a good year for open world games if this was the best…

  12. Promoting Atomic Heart without even a word of its connections to ongoing human atrocities is horrible.

  13. FF16 is not open world. The side quests are boring as hell. And after 18 hrs in it just lost my interest.

  14. I’m not a huge Potter fan but I absolutely loved Hogwarts

  15. Hogwarts Legacy at Number 9? 🤣 Come on.

  16. The fact zelda got #1 gets you ya dislike. Rare for this channel for me, but im tired of the zelda ballhuggers

  17. "It kinda gave us a big blue cat FarCry" I'm dead! 🤣

  18. They blew Jedi survivor with the BS only 2 stances available at a time the combos could have been so insane.

  19. Not all these games are open world some just open area FF 16 for example

  20. Hogwarts Legacy is so good. I mean all the games listed for sure are good. But being a Harry Potter fan and now this game launched this year, man it has been fun and still is.

  21. Putting assassins creed as 4th and starfield as 3rd is wild

  22. Playing very loosely with the term open world game haha
Great list! Have a good Christmas Gameranx!

  23. Creation engine is crappy compared to Unreal engine? Wtf are you smoking falcon? Why tf would you want all games to look the same and why would you want a Bethesda game to not have the unique physics and retention properties that make it a Bethesda game? This was a bad take, mate. Gotta be honest

  24. please invert the number count down slides. the white is blaring in the dark late at night. love the content!

  25. Never seen a channel suck the balls so much of cyberpunk, they put cyberpunk in every fucking list, even if is not a 2023 game, its a dlc, stop sucking so much the ball of this god fucking unfinished bad game

  26. I just bought cyberpunk it's better than GTA5. Cyberpunk should have online with 🚁 and ✈️

  27. Honorable Mention: No Man's Sky …again ツ

  28. Falcon u suck compared to Jake and half of these weren’t open world

  29. As soon as I hit number 5 and didn’t see TOTK I had to turn the shit off. I knew it would be number one, and I skipped ahead just to see how predictable this actually was.

  30. Only 1 of the top 3 belongs there — maybe.

  31. FF XVI isn’t open world you derp.. and it sucked.

  32. Hogwarts Legacy is far better than Starfield. I tried to love starfield, I really did. The mechanics are clunky at best and it was completely unoptimized. The devs of HW Legacy were crystal clear about what the game was and wasn’t; I know that’s not what this list is about, but it was a DAMN good game, and its mechanics were FAR and away better than starfield’s. Starfield was conceptually great but poorly executed; I think it’s high on these lists only for its ambition rather than its execution.

  33. Hate me as much as you like, but still loved Starfield! Hope they improve it!!

  34. Diablo 4 on 6 is straight hilarious. the game is dogshit

  35. LOL Starfield on 3? ok dude i´m unsubbing. you are bought

  36. I loved the plot and story of FF16. I loved how they wove the summons into the world and the growing resistance of everyone else. Amazing game.

  37. There's a reason Bethesda doesn't use the Unreal engine, it's not NEARLY as interactive as Creation Engine. Sure Unreal engine looks 10 times better BUT Bethesda like giving players depth and interactivity with the environment. Not to mention they LOVE the modding community (for the most part) and modding with creation engine is FAR MORE in depth than Unreal. You don't see people creating their own DLC's with unreal like you do with creation engine, just look at Skyrim and Fallout's modding community. Sure Starfield is mid at best right now but wait 3-5 years and see what the modding community comes up with, it's going to be epic AF. So for the love of god STOP with this "they need to use unreal" shit

  38. Assassin's Creed Mirage looks really good, people complain about the supernatural abilities but i would argue that makes the game interesting

  39. I am so disappointed that God of war ragnarok was not place as number one in the list.
U even forgot about alan Wake 2

  40. Ever since I found out about FiveM I really haven’t played much of anything else since
